Prestige Care Centers is Hiring a Central Supply Clerk Near Morrison, CO
Prestige Care Center of Morrison is nestled in the foothills near Red Rocks. With beautiful scenery, wildlife, and mountain views, you are sure to find our location a great place to work. We are located off multiple interstates and highways, which makes getting to the facility an easier task.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or B.A. in a business-related field is preferred.
- Some business training or experience is preferred.
- Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties.
- Good managerial, organizational, and planning skills.
- Be personable with residents, families, and staff in a professional and cooperative manner.
- Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the elderly.
- Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH and HFS standards in regards to storage and distribution of medical supplies.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives.
- Order all nursing supplies to maintain a sufficient stock of all items needed to provide for residents' care.
- Maintain within budget and optimum economization the purchase of all nursing supplies.
- Accept deliveries of all nursing supplies and verify accuracy of amounts with the order form at the time of delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and time sequencing of supplies in the medical storage room.
- Bring needed supplies to nurses' stations according to supply orders and check floors for overstocking.
- Ensure correct disposal of "filled sharp containers" and schedule medical waste pickup with contracted company when needed.
- Maintain the confidentiality of resident information and honor his/her personal and property rights.
- Follow established fire, disaster, safety, infection control, and evacuation policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the DON and Administrator.

Pay: $17 - $20 per hour
